Last Train Leaving Detroit, 2024
Dec. 26th marks my 5 year anniversary in Detroit. When I first got here I hardly knew anybody, and would just drive around photographing my fascination with this new place. Five years later, this place has become my home. The city has only gotten better and better, but still changed a lot in the process.
To me this project is a way of sharing my favorite pictures I’ve taken over the years with the public. In my photographs are friends, oddities, spaces I love, and places that no longer exist. In printing them off, I hope to leave my impact on Detroit in the same way it’s left its impact on me.
